A Little Bit About Me
Hi! I'm Olivia, and stories and storytelling has been a part of me since my early teens. I write stories of fantastical origins (fantasy and magic usually), sassy heroes and heroines (which you’d think would come harder for an introverted woman like myself, but here we are) who are fiercely loyal to those they love.
As I said, I started writing in my early teens, maybe even earlier than that, writing fanfiction of my favorite Saturday morning cartoons. The world will unfortunately never see those, nor will they see my early attempts of original fiction, but those early years shaped me. I found I loved the fantasy genre, the ability to create whatever I wanted, to make worlds of my own.
I love creating. I love diving deep into characters, figuring out who they are, why they do what they do. I love giving them the hope they have that drives them. They are as flawed as me, but even the most flawed is not completely lost. Because neither are we, right?
(Except Zal Ira. There’s no hope for that character. I’m sorry xD)
My stories carry themes of family, redemption and forgiveness, hope, and a bit (or a lot) of magic. I write first and foremost for the glory of the Master Storyteller, who gave me life, and the fingers to tap away at a keyboard or take up a pen. I write too for readers who want a moment of escape, a little bit of fun before diving back into the world. For readers who need to know that there is hope and light. That not everything is as dark as this world might want you to think.
So I hope you’ll join me. God willing, I have lots of stories to tell, and I can’t wait for what comes next!

I have a cat. My family has had house cats, we’ve had barn cats. Cats are not unfamiliar to me. But owning my own cat is a new thing ENTIRELY and I was wildly unprepared for the spitfire I ended up with. But she’s cute, so I think I’ll keep her. ;)
Meet Lorelai! She enjoys chasing her toys, eating, and getting into trouble.

My weaknesses are chocolate, jelly beans, books, and pretty notebooks. Also gel pens (never going back to ballpoint XD). My bookshelves are crying under the weight of books and yet I still buy more. It’s a problem.

I am an animal lover (minus creepy bugs or spiders). I am an introverted person, so usually I zero in on the animals in the house. Or the small children. The small, cute things.

My nieces and nephews are the cutest little nuggets on the face of the planet and snuggling them has become a profession. I'm currently working toward Favorite Aunt status.

My favorite color is dark-ish teal. The kind where you can’t really classify it as blue or green, because when you decide on one, you see the other. It’s mesmerizing and beautiful.

My favorite animal are foxes. Despite the cons, I still kind of want to own one as a pet.
